Hailing from Suffolk, East of England, Reno & Rome combine themes of love, euphoria and romance with infectious melodies and ethereal pop-rock.

A 4 piece original band from Suffolk breathing new life into the world of rock music. Taking influence from bands such as Deftones, Biffy Clyro, Audioslave and Muse to name a few, In My Disguise bring big riffs, catchy melodies and heavy groove elements for you to sink your teeth into.

Waxies Dargle

Waxies Dargle

Waxies Dargle were formed in 2011, they are a collection of six great musicians with a passion for music and in particular Irish music focusing mostly on The Pogues. The line up uses authentic instrumentation including the banjo, whistle, accordion, flute and more  – played with enthusiasm and fun.

 A band of six members who never fail to entertain you with their upbeat, fun, “get you dancing” style of music.

Gasoline Alley

Gasoline Alley

Gasoline Alley were first formed in late 69 and stayed together until  1972. The band members all stayed in touch over the years  and about 7 years ago had a reunion and decided to play together again and started gigging once more.  Playing a mixture of Rock covers, a bit of blues and frankly anything else that takes their fancy!

Delta Channel

Delta Channel

Delta Channel were formed in Suffolk during 2016 and play original dance music. Using electronic instruments, percussion, guitars and vocals the band have written songs that they hope will make you want to move.

Musica Workshops

Musica’s objective is to promote, maintain and advance the creative education of the public. This is done through participation in creative activities, in particular music, to improve the self-esteem, well-being and life chances of people of all ages who are disadvantaged by personal circumstances such as disability, ill health, poverty or isolation.

The Girl in The Hat

The Girl In The Hat

Ellen Fairey AKA “The Girl in the Hat” is a 13 year old solo singer and guitarist from Suffolk. Since 2016 she has performed across the county including at the Maritime festival Ipswich, The Sausage festival Framlingham, Oxjam busking session and The Blues and Beer festival in Ipswich.  She can regularly be seen busking in local towns or at various open mic nights.

The Eleventh Hour

The Eleventh Hour are a 3 piece all originals band from the east coast of Suffolk. Vince on guitar and vocals and Adam and Matt on bass and drums.

Taking influence from punk, rock, and new wave –  you’re guaranteed enough variety to satisfy even the most diverse of musical palates. Unless you only like folk music, they don’t do folk music.

Showcasing a select handful of students for Sax Fest 2018, Ipswich Guitar School helps players of all ages from 7 to 70 play the music they love.

The students include hobbyists, professionals and well known celebrities too!

Peter Hepworth

Peter Hepworth

Although Hepworth has been off the public scene as a performing/recording artists, through friends and the Blue Bus Tour he has been performing and writing continually under the radar. In the past few years he has shared the stage with the likes of Beth Orton, Bastille, Turin Brakes, Kevin Pearce, Seasfire, Tom McRae, Kimberly Anne, Jamie Lawson, Sam Brookes, Scott Matthews, Kal Lavelle, Jake Morley, Fiona Bevan, and many more.

Raindance

Raindance

Raindance is a local Ipswich band who have performed together on & off since 1996. They have supported The Levellers, Suzi Quattro, Dr & The Medics and many more. They mostly play covers of popular pop/rock songs & a few of their own originals. Their punchy edge & energetic performance will have you up on your feet dancing along.

A group of friends in their 50s, 60s and 70s performing Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s!

Two Of Us

‘Two Of Us’ are local duo performing a wide range of acoustic music and are  a popular act at many folk clubs in East Suffolk. They play a wide range of music across the folk, blues, country and americana genres, but don’t be surprised if the odd pop song from the 60’s or 70’s makes an appearance in their set.

Anna Carter

Anna Carter is a Pop Singer-Songwriter and Producer from Norwich, UK. She received airplay for her song ‘All You Gotta Do’ on BBC Radio Norfolk, and in July 2016 she performed at Latitude Festival with her band Field Day. Anna makes upbeat Pop songs “with an aim to get them stuck in your head.”

EPM Project

The EPM Project

Following a 10 year break from the music scene, The EPM project is now about to re-launch his career and SaxFest 2018 will be his very first audience! Formerly one half of a successful Lowestoft based duo which performed across the UK for almost 8 years, The EPM project, now a solo artist, is looking forward to seeing you soon to get those 80’s vibes back in your ears!

Tash and Josh

Tash and Josh

Josh and Tash have been performing together for the past 3 years. Josh plays electric and acoustic guitar and Tash provides vocals.

They cover songs ranging from rock and indie right through to country.

Noah

Noah Evans

Noah is a 14 year old singer songwriter from Suffolk who has been writing music for the last year. His influences include The Kooks, The Fratellis, Franz Ferdinand. He has appeared at Ipswich Music Day, Homegrown Festival, Bury Fringe Festival and most Open Mic nights in Suffolk!
